I began my work in the detail department as a porter, mainly washing cars in for service and detailing cars to be sold. After a few short months of hard work I was quickly promoted to supervisor. My current duties include overseeing and cataloging new car drops, detailing, lot management, dealer trades, and long haul transportation. Essentially I answer to all departments in the dealership, if something needs to get done my team and I take care of it. Additionally, I do some media for the store as well for car shows and events.
I worked the late shift where there were fewer employees than normal. My original jobs were to bag groceries, take care of carts, and face the shelves. Most nights I was the only service specialist working, so I took on other tasks such as unloading the delivery trucks, stocking, and helping employees with computer work. Working at a market at night in San Francisco meant I dealt with drug addicts and criminals trying to steal every night. This job gave me experience in working under pressure and dealing with confrontation.
