A Bit About Me
When I was 8 years old, my mom took me a to a film making class at the apple store in the mall. Since my first film shot on my moms phone and edited on imovie, I have been in love with creating visual stories and capturing beautiful images. I took film classes in highschool alongside working the GFX for our school news program. Since then I have been capturing and editing documentary footage of my life and those close to me, making short films with friends, and making music. My main goal in life is to be able to do what I love for a living.
Experience
2018-2020
KBFT and STN
2020-2024
San Francisco State University
KBFT is the school media program at Christian Brothers High School. I took every media class possible in high school and was able to be a part of KBFT my junior year. I mainly edited segments as well as ran graphics during the live show. After I served my stint in KBFT, I passed on my knowledge to middle school students as a camp councilor at the video production summer camp held at the school. During my time in high school, I also attended and competed at the Student Television Network conferences in Seattle and D.C. Our school won best Podcast production in Seattle, but unfortunately the D.C. competition got cut short due to the federal lockdown.
I attended SFSU for 4 years studying film and received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Cinema. In all my production classes I would put myself down for the role of editor, because that is all I wanted to do. But when it came time to put ideas on the table, my idea was always the one chosen. This resulted in me directing many of my own films during college.
2024-2025
Niello Volvo
While my current job is not in the industry, I am doing media for Niello on the side. I film and take pictures at the car meets and company events. I am also working on growing the social media presence of the Volvo store in particular.
